Dynamic Balance (updated) is an interactive pen holder/display. It redefines the concept of balance art product. Traditional balance products become boring over time due to limited interaction. In contrast, the Dynamic Balance allows users to define their own balance. The Wing moves with different pens in various slots, offering beauty, elegance, and fun. It serves as a decoration that enhances moods and provides unique experiences and visuals for each user.
Functional prototype was made after extensive experiments and study. For easy of initial tests, 3D printed PLA was used for structure part, for mass production aluminum is intended. Enjoy my journey!

Past balance products deliver interaction that users can only play with the default setting of the balance with only one still position. With time passing by, they end up being boring due to a lack of sustainable fun of interaction.

Structure of Dynamic Balance
3 main structure systems are inextricably linked and affect the entire product performance. They are divided to have a clear pathway to study their properties and performance.
This process was based on 3D printed PLA, PLA do not have the strength of metal but this is what I can experiment efficiently at the concept stage before mass production.
