Zensitive - Nature immersion simulation module
A space-in-space solution providing nature immersion experience by stimulating human senses with sound and light to help office workers to relax during break and get back to work productively.

Objective and Abstract
Within cabins, help office workers relax and "recharge"
With Ahrend’s phone call cabins that reduce environment noise, we were asked to come up with a space-in-space solution to help office workers to have a relaxtion experience during break and get back to work productively.
Background Research
Simulations of real environment offer the "real" sensation
Immersion is the object framed by the logic of vision. An immersive installation is a representation of a reality represented by the language of multisensory factors, as opposed to the vision. (Wigley, 2016) Using our senses as triggers to fill in the gaps within an environment.

Trigger human senses by mimicing nature
Being in nature is so relaxing because we're naturally drawn to it. The sounds, sights, and smells of the outdoors calm our senses. It helps lower stress hormones and makes us more mindful and present. Plus, getting away from screens and moving around outdoors boosts our mood and helps us unwind.
User test criteria
Based on UEQ criteria, we iterated design
Each 25-minute section for one participant consisted of four parts:a brief introduction, completion of the experience of the Zensitive, completion of the UEQ, and a semi-structured interview.
